About Laurie Pawlik-Kienlen

My name is Laurie Pawlik-Kienlen; I’m a writer and blogger in Vancouver, BC.

My degrees are in Education and Psychology from the University of Alberta, in Canada. I’ve written for magazines such as Reader’s Digest, Woman’s Day, Health, and More. These days, however, I’m blogging full-time. I created and manage six “Quips and Tips” websites, which are the love of my life (after my husband, of course!).

,

I’ve written two “Quips and Tips” ebooks about writing and blogging:

73 Ways to Fire Up (or Just Fire) the Muse helps writers write even when they don’t wanna — or they think they can’t.

75 Ways to Make (More) Money Blogging – is a realistic guide to making hundreds — and eventually thousands — of dollars a month with your blog.

These ebooks will motivate you to write more, write better, and make money while you’re at it!

.

I’ve also written three other “Quips and Tips” ebooks:

How to Let Go of an Animal You Love – 75 Ways to Survive Pet Loss – to help people mourn and cope with the heartache of losing a beloved family pet.

75 Ways to Let Go of Someone You Love – for people who can’t let go of someone they love, to help them break free and move on with their lives.

80 Ways to Say “I Love You” – the perfect guide for couples in love! Dozens of quips and tips, to help people express love in new or “old” relationships. Tips range from how to say “I’m sorry” to how to say “I love you” to someone for the first (or 100th!) time.

.

I hope you enjoy reading these ebooks as much as I’ve enjoyed writing them!

All good things,

  2. Hello Karen,

I’m afraid that to buy “Letting Go of Someone You Love” with a MasterCard, you need to create a PayPal account.

I’ll email you directly, and see if we can arrange another method of payment.

    All good things,
    Laurie

  3. Hi Laurie,
I am interested in purchasing 75 ways to let go of someone you love. Can I pay with mastercard as I have had trouble using paypal and is it available as an ebook or do is it a hard copy?
    Regards,
    Lauren

    Hello Lauren,

Yes, you can use your MasterCard to purchase 75 Ways to Let Go of Someone You Love — it’s an ebook that is immediately downloadable.

But you do have to go through PayPay in order to use your MasterCard. You don’t need to pay extra, just sign up with PayPal. They won’t put you on a mail list or anything…it’s just their way of processing purchases.

    Thank you!

    Laurie

  5. Hi Laurie,

I am trying to help my sister leave an emotional abusive relationship, but I do not have a credit card. I am wondering if you can send me your email address? My email address has my first and last name in it lol, I don’t think it wise to post it here. Ok I was also wondering if you hold any workshops on ways to leave a relationship…I too have had a sister I met awhile ago end her relationship with me and she gave no reason or rhyme ughh still hard for me to let it go, but I want too. I too have been a foster child and lived through intergenerational trauma from the Indian Residential school system. Ok pls send me your email if possible? here or if I have too I’ll create a new email address with hotmail
    bye for now

    Dear Pocahontaz,

Thanks for sharing your experiences — I’m so sorry to hear about your sister and her relationship. It’s such a difficult place to be, both for her and for you.

Please call a local or national help line, and find out how to help your sister. I can’t offer personal support or advice on breaking free from abuse — though my ebook does have a whole chapter and lots of advice on healing from abusive relationships.

I also encourage you to call a social services or counseling organization. Many offer free support and valuable information on everything, from letting go of someone you love to dealing with childhood issues.

I know you’ll find the right way to support your sister — but remember that you can’t make any decisions for her! All you can do is walk alongside her as she figures out what she she do with her life. Sometimes it takes time and courage to be strong. She may just need patience and love from you.

Regarding payment; it’s free and easy to set up a PayPal account. You don’t need a credit card.

I wish you all the best.

    Blessings,
    Laurie
