Elaine,

Congratulations on your thesis project! It sounds like you're a busy woman -- but it's a very exciting and interesting thing to be working on.

I wish you all the best, and hope these tips help you avoid burnout.

All good things,
Laurie

I am working on a thesis in design. I have a full time job and I commute about an hour to get to my job and my school. It means all of my time is scheduled. I find it incredibly difficult to take breaks. And I pay for that every day. For me, whether writing or designing, I want to use all of my time as well as I can. Often, after a long bout of work I get to that moment of blankness. I am trying to find a method of allowing myself some break times because not taking breaks means the breaks take me. Thank you so much for this post. Your tips sound very helpful. I plan to try them starting today!
