Thanks for being here — all the way from India!

Unfortunately, I don’t have a list of journals or magazines that accept reprint articles. There are hundreds — thousands! — of publications in the world, and the freelance writer’s job is to figure out which ones accept what type of articles.

I suggest figuring out which magazines are likely to print articles that you’ve written (eg, if you wrote about editing a poem, then a literary journal may be interested in your work), then reading their submissions policy to determine if they accept reprint articles.

You could also email the editors who you’re interested in working with, and ask about their “reprint rights” policy.

Selling reprint articles takes longer than you think! I sold my first one two days ago, but I had to pitch it to five different editors before one would buy it. But, I’ve earned $250 from that reprint so it was well worth the time it took to pitch it to five different editors.
