Congratulations on publishing your book of poetry! That’s a huge achievement — good for you

Regarding writing a novel…I’m not sure if you need motivational tips or novel-writing tips. I can offer several articles about increasing your self-discipline and motivation as a writer — but I don’t have any articles that are dedicated to writing a novel.

Here are two articles about increasing your productivity and chances that you’ll be a successful writer:

Laurie,

I am a writer by all means. I do not write novels however I do write poetry. You have given great advice that will help many writers from different styles of writing. I do however have a question to ask. I am wanting to write a novel in the future I just don’t know how to go about the challenge of writing one. Do you have and tips or advice that could help me in this journey? I have recently published a book of my poetry and I want to do big things.

Great tips! With so much information on the internet being banal and regurgitated, this informatin is a breath of fresh air and quite valid. There is much truth in this article and I applaud the author for sharing such powerful information that is actually a relevation of secrets; secrets because such wisdom is seldom shared.

I think that the more rejections you get, the more confident you feel as a writer. That’s how it worked for me, anyway….though I suspect it’s a law of diminishing returns…
