		<description>Hi Laurie,

I agree that choosing a theme with support is key. I spent several frustrating days trying to help a friend who chose a theme which just wouldn&#039;t work for her purposes and offered no technical support.

Thanks for these tips. I am bookmarking this site and will come here first if (when?) something goes awry.

		<description>Hi Laurie

Thanks for this great post. I am certainly NOT looking forward to the first time my blog goes belly up though. I had never even seen a bit of code before I started my blog. There was a HUGE learning curve when I first started. Still is for that matter!

The tech side of a blog can certainly at times been overwhelming. I am with Hostgator as well and they certainly helped me when I had a problem setting up my blog email address. The whole problem was fixed via their message system (I think that may be the Live Chat you were talking about). I was very happy with the outcome.

The hardest thing I find is how long it takes me to do any technical updates/changes to my blog. I am seriously thinking of hiring a web designer to help me along, instead of slowly working on it myself every weekend.

Again thanks for the informative post.

Cheers
