The beauty of going local isn't just supporting our fellow Canadians, it also seems easier to contact the provider. Close seems more secure, somehow. But, HostGator really has done excellent work for me. They're down in Texas, I think....or at least many of the techs seem to have southern and/or Texan accents! Seriously helpful people. Actually, I'm in he midst of researching a host for a new website I'm about the launch. I currently use HostICan (www.hostican.com) and am fairly happy, but I haven't had any issues, so it's hard to tell... I just might try out Host Gator on the new website to see how the services differ. Although, I would like to find a good Canadian host. Suggestions, anyone??
