Deanna Proach

Deanna is a novelist. Her first book, 'Day of Revenge' was released by Inkwater Press in September 2010. 'Day of Revenge' is a historical fiction book set in 1793 France during the onset of the Reign of Terror. She is currently working on her second book, a contemporary suspense titled 'To be Maria' and plans to have it completed in June.

Deanna is also into theatre. She performed in her first big production, 'A Bedfull of Foreigners' as the lead female character, Helga. 'A Bedfull of Foreigners' was produced by the Peninsula Players initially as dinner theatre in the fall of 2010. It was performed again in February 2011 at the Heritage Playhouse in Gibsons, B.C.

Before 'A Bedfull of Foreigners', Deanna was actively involved with the Driftwood Players Story Theatre. She enjoyed interacting with supportive directors, making new friends and performing at various festivals in Sechelt, Gibsons and Halfmoon Bay. It was actually a friend from Story Theatre who told her about the auditions for 'A Bedfull of Foreigners'.
