Laurie Pawlik-Kienlen’s Blogs
Quips and Tips for Spiritual Seekers is my newest blog — it’s a partnership with author and transformational coach, Gini Grey. It’s a fledgling blog, and blends psychology (my specialty) with intuition (Gini’s area of expertise). Like all my “Quips and Tips” blogs, it features a book and practical life tips in every article.
On Quips and Tips for Couples Coping With Infertility, I pair inspirational quotations with practical ways to deal with infertility and the hope of getting pregnant. Again, I highlight a book in every article. My goal is to help people remember that infertility is a drag, but it doesn’t have to make us bitter, angry, or depressed. Infertility is ugly, but it doesn’t have to wreck our dreams!
Quips and Tips for Achieving Your Goals is my most popular blog; those articles range from overcoming emotional infidelity to investing in mutual funds. Books or products are highlighted, and inspirational quotations are paired with practical life tips.
See Jane Soar is based on a book I’m writing; I pull life lessons from successful women in history. Amelia Earhart, Rachel Ray, Annie Oakley — there are SO many women we can learn from! The book is also called See Jane Soar.
And finally, I’ve been the Feature Writer for Psychology Suite101 since October 1, 2006. There, I specialize in articles about mental and emotional health and wellness.
Enjoy yourself here with these writers, bloggers, and poets. Feel free to comment on the posts or email me personally. I’d love to hear from you!

I’ve never been that far east; my dream is to take a road trip across Canada one day — from ocean to ocean. I’d LOVE to see the Maritimes.
Take care of your end of Canada, my friend, and I’ll take care of mine

Right, Laurie, great post. It’s always difficult for writers to know how much time they spend on each project. I’ve tried time-capture products but never had any luck with those stopwatch-based systems; I always forgot to start and stop the timers so they were less than successful for me. Don’t you wish you had one that was completely automatic? One that would start and stop itself, and even know when you had several windows open and just time the one you’re working in? One that would recognize your idle time and then tell you how many minutes it was and let you assign the time to projects or just let it be idle time?
