About Laurie Pawlik-Kienlen

Freelancing full-time. Will write for food.”

As a full-time freelance writer, I contribute to magazines such as Reader’s Digest, Woman’s Day.com, Spirituality & Health, alive, MSN Health and sometimes More. My writing goals include breaking into Chatelaine, The Ladies’ Home Journal, and O Magazine. I also want to write non-fiction books that inspire people to pursue their dreams.

My degrees are in Psychology and Education, from the University of Alberta in Edmonton (in Canada). To learn more, check out my website, theAdventurousWriter.com, for my credentials and published articles.

I live on Bowen Island, British Columbia, Canada.

Quips & Tips for Healthy Women. My other blog is called Quips & Tips for Healthy Women. It’s basically the same format as Quips & Tips for Freelance Writers: I pair inspirational quotations from successful, strong women in history with practical life tips.

Quips & Tips for Couples Coping With Infertility. My third site is called Quips & Tips for Couples Coping With Infertility. It’s basically the same format as my first two - but it’s a little more personal. My goal is to empower and inspire couples coping with infertility. Infertility is a drag, but it doesn’t have to make us bitter, angry, or depressed, nor should it kill our dreams. Again, I pair quips with practical life tips.

Psychology Suite101. I’m the Feature Writer for Psychology Suite101, where I specialize in articles about emotional, mental, and physical health and wellness. Suite101 was my first paid writing gig.

Enough about me. Enjoy yourself here with these writers, bloggers, and poets. Feel free to comment on the posts or email me personally. I’d love to hear from you!

Go well,

Laurie Pawlik-Kienlen
