What is the best Christmas gift for your woman? It depends on her personality and lifestyle! Here are several holiday gift ideas, ranging from practical to romantic, from clothes to home décor tips.

I’ve also included links to the websites that sell these Christmas presents for women, which will make your online shopping easy…

The image here – the gorgeous wrapped gifts – are from Art of Appreciation Gift Baskets; click the image for more info. It’s a gourmet food gift basket, which is one of the best Christmas gifts for women – unless of course she’s looking for a more romantic holiday present! Is she ready for a diamond engagement ring or pearl necklace?

The Best Christmas Gifts for Women

Cruz Taffy Bathrobe. Reversible microfleece robes are soft and luxurious, from Natori.com. If you’re into silk or satin – which are always great gifts for women – try a women’s satin robe from Mystic Clothing.

Diamond Engagement Ring. Christmas and New Year’s are popular times for men to propose to women, and many women know this! If you’re proposing over the holidays, make sure you do your research on various types of brilliant white gold diamond rings.

Gourmet Foods. Another best Christmas gift for women is various gourmet foods — if she loves to cook. Here are links to some popular holiday gift sets:

Peek Mobile Email Device. This is a great gift for women who want to stay connected, but don’t own an i-Phone or other email device yet. The Peek Mobile E-mail Device on Amazon isn’t expensive, and your sweetie might love it because it’s both practical and thoughtful.

Solar Phone Charger. If you’re looking for an eco-friendly Christmas gift for women, consider a hybrid charger or a solar-powered radio with a cell phone charger.

Gourmet Bath Baskets. One of the best holiday gifts for women is a spa day – and a Spa-In-A-Basket With Honey Vanilla Scent, Comfy Slippers, And Massage Tool is a cost-effective way to pamper her.

Magazine Gift Subscriptions. This is one of my favorite Christmas gifts for women: a one or two year magazine gift subscription to O, The Oprah Magazine or Real Simple. If those magazines don’t sound quite right for the woman in your life, consider ones such as Good Housekeeping, Women’s Health, or Vogue.

Kindle Wireless Reading. If your woman loves to read but doesn’t want to haul books around, consider Amazon’s Wireless Reading Device. She’ll be able to download books in seconds, and be reading them minutes later! This is a perfect Christmas gift for impatient women like me :-)

I know its early but I’m saving money for Christmas presents. I have a gift in mind for my mum dad and little brother but i cant think of what to get my 16 year old brother. If anyone could give us a list of what might be thoughtful gifts for him then that would be much obliged. Many thanks!!!

hi girls. please give me some advice. i’ve been with my girlfriend for 3 years and i’m looking for a romantic gift for our anniversary next week. I’ve been recommended a few things and everyone says to get something personalised but im not really into them as i think they’re a bit, well, naff!

the ONLY gift that i like is a personalised conversation book that i really love the look off.

what do you girls think? I have no idea about this!!

Thanks for these tips, Lingerie. Yes, black and darker colors are definitely slimming…but oh so boring! Give me whites, reds, blues, and greens any day :-)

But, if you’re buying a Christmas gift for a woman, you might want to avoid the bright colors — unless you know she likes them.

  5. Lingerie says:

When it comes to colors, women love to pick bright or pastel colors. While there is nothing wrong with this, there is a better solution if you are aiming to make yourself seem slimmer. Choose black or any dark colors. These are guaranteed to make you appear slimmer because it hides any bulges. Darker colors also give less definition. If you can’t avoid wearing bright or pastel colors, make sure that the blouse does not have too many patterns. Opt instead for plain blouses.

Thanks, Mary Beth — I like it! Even women who don’t like to garden, or don’t have time for it, will like that Christmas gift idea.

I’m thinking a Kindle would be a cool holiday gift, especially now that they’re available in Canada.

  7. I wanted to share this gift idea — it’s healthy and green. Go Macro macrobiotic bars come in beautiful eco friendly gift boxes. The enclosed gift card contains wild flower seeds – add dirt to the box, plant the card and watch the wildflowers grow. After enjoying the flowers indoors, plant the box directly in the ground. See more at gomcro.com Thanks!

My favorite Christmas gift this year would be an assortment of spices and herb mixtures from Epicure Selections. You just add the herb mix to sour cream and yoghurt, and voila! You’ve got an amazing dip for your pita bread, fresh veggies, crackers, etc.

These are all great suggestions. My favorite of all that are mentioned is the Gourmet Bath Baskets. My wife loves these as she use the spa products to soak in the tub for hours!

  10. Its a very interesting and cool post. Thanks for your time to write this post.

    Rose.

The best gift my husband ever gave me was a rectangular wood sign, painted very light green, with the words “believe…because if you believe, you will achieve” in black script. It’s gorgeous, and it wasn’t even a Christmas gift! He just picked it up on a business trip.

Those motivational wood signs are fabulous — he bought his at a small independently owned shop.

  12. Gift Expressions says:

Nice gift ideas. I’d choose the spa gift basket idea. I think that would be great – to have the products you need to spend some “pampering” time.

I would add – just know the recipient and her likes/dislikes. Give her something that will truly be a “gift” to her.
