Screaming men and women who venture down dark stairwells are all part of a must-see Halloween movie. So, turn the lights off, sink into a blanket on the sofa, and munch on popcorn and chocolate while you watch a scary movie - it’s one of the best ways to de-stress. Plus, getting scared with your family and friends can strengthen your relationship (because happiness is found in your experiences, not your possessions).

I’ve seen The Ring. It comes in two versions: The original Japanese version, and the American remake. The Japanese version is by far one of the creepiest movies I’ve ever seen. Asian horror tends to have scary elements that American horror lacks. It is completely worth watching. Once you’ve seen the Japanese version, it’s worth it to watch the American version for comparison. The American version also has scenes which the perverted mind can interpret as sexual interest between the mother and her six-year-old son. (Such as him lying in bed with her and calling her by her first name in the sequel.)
