Laurie…I agree with you. A gourmet gift basket would be nice because it comes with variety of edible items and everyone can share the items during the dinner.
As for the centerpiece, it is not necessary to have some kind decorations or ornaments. Why not just place a basket of fruits ? You can recycle the gift baskets that you have
