Antioxidants don't prevent aging, according to new research published a couple days ago, from the University College of London.

"A healthy, balanced diet is very important for reducing the risk of developing many diseases associated with old age, such as cancer, diabetes and osteoporosis," says Dr David Gems. "But there is no clear evidence that dietary antioxidants can slow or prevent aging. There is even less evidence to support the claims of most anti-aging products."

Free radicals do damage our bodies, and we can't repair that damage - and this is part of the aging process. But, we think that antioxidants can slow our aging process....we're mistaken.

Don't get me wrong - antioxidants are still incredibly healthy for you - but they just won't make you look 20 again!
