Man, he'd retire and take care of the whole house and garden in a second, if he could. And I would love to be the primary bread-winner......but unfortunately, writing isn't exactly a lucrative business. Men should be able to maintain their self-esteems WHILE being involved with a confident, strong woman--who happens to be the breadwinner. To "live off his wife's success" doesn't do anything for the man as an individual, and build resentment on both sides. LOL, Joel… but what you’ve described is part of the problem.
