Yes, Gini, internet surfing is a huge time drain -- and it can be endless! And endlessly draining. It does deplete energy.

I'm really bad for checking my emails often, but I do tend to answer them in blocks of time. That definitely saves time, which increases productivity.

Regarding getting rid of stuff -- did you know that debt and clutter are closely connected? Here's an article about that, called 8 Tips for Reducing Clutter and Decreasing Debt

And here's an article about getting rid of clutter: Tips for Getting Rid of Clutter

My problem is convincing my hubby to get rid of his clutter.... :-)

Good tips, Laurie - I'm particularly good at cutting back on the chores - my house is a huge dust bunny! I also have to get rid of clutter on my desk or I can't work. I'd love to get rid of more stuff - any tips on how to get rid of all the stuff you already have?

Here's another two tips that help me - reduce internet surfing time as it quickly sucks up time and productivity (plus usually leaves me brain dead so I can't be productive). And leave emails to a specific time in the day (perhaps after you've done the most important activities of the day).
